John Weymouth (b. 1922), professor emeritus of physics at the University of Nebraska, received the 1997 Fryxell Award for Interdisciplinary Research in Archaeology. He is internationally recognized for his work in geophysical surveys and currently serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Geophysical Prospection .
