Marco Schioppa (b. 1960) is an Italian professor of experimental physics at the University of Calabria and director of High Energy Laboratory. He designed key components for the ATLAS experiment at CERN and contributed to the discovery of the Higgs boson. Marco promotes experimental physics in schools among younger students.
