Evelyne Thuriere (1944-2013) was a researcher in nuclear physics, who worked at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France. She joined the astrophysics team at the Tunnel de Modane lab, to search for WIMP particles, trying to understand the nature of dark matter.
