Igor Valentinovich Tkachenko (1964-2009) was a Russian pilot and posthumous Hero of the Russian Federation. Perennial leader of the aerobatic team Russian Knights, which performed at hundreds of air shows around the world, Tkachenko died tragically at the International Aviation and Space Salon 2009.
