Paul Gregory Lorenz (b. 1952) is a professional pianist and has been an avid amateur astronomer, deep sky observer and astrophotographer since the 1960s. Originally a member with the Chicago Astronomical Society, he relocated to Tucson, Arizona in 1980, where he is now a member of the Tucson Amateur Astronomical Association.
