Yasuhide Fujita (1961– ), a Japanese amateur astronomer, is a staff member at the Board of Education in Kuma Town {see planet (8255) }. He worked as a researcher at the Kuma Kogen Astronomical Observatory for eight years (1992–1999) and independently discovered the supernova 1994I. (M 46682) _ _.
