Olivér Halassy (1909-1946) was a Hungarian water polo player and freestyle swimmer, who won two gold and one silver medal in three Summer Olympics Games between 1928 and 1936. He was the first amputee swimmer to compete in the Olympics. He also became European champion in the 1500-m freestyle in 1931.
