Daniel Danxu Zhang (b. 1999) was awarded best of category and first place in the 2017 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for his biomedical and health sciences project. He also received the Philip V. Streich Memorial Award. He attends the Westview High School, San Diego, California, U.S.A.
