This Apollo object, which is identical with the single-apparition periodic comet 1949 III = 1949g (which appeared cometary on its discovery night of 1949 Nov. 19), is being given the name of that comet, which was discovered by A. G. Wilson and R. G. Harrington early in the first Palomar Sky Survey. (M 22246) _ _.
