Named for the daughter of Uranus and Gaea {see planet  (1184)}, sister and wife of Cronus, and mother of Zeus, Poseidon {see planets  (5731),  (4341)}, Hades, Demeter {see planet  (1108)}, Hera {see planet  (103)}, and Hestia {see planet  (46)}.
