Named in honor of Elliot Lewis Barnaby Steel, second child of the discoverer and Helen M. Steel. Elliot was born in Adelaide on 1995 Feb. 28, and his first home was within sight of the Siding Spring Observatory. Building on this auspicious start in life, at the age of 15 months he is already taking an interest in the night sky and other aspects of the universe around him. (M 27332) _ _.
