A. L. (Al) Woods (1911-2004) was an amateur astronomer with a long history in the Mid-States Region of the Astronomical League and with the St. Louis Astronomical Society. He was particularly noted for his telescope-making activities, especially with multi-mirror, tilted-component systems.
