When a planet stations, it often seems that themes according with its realm become louder and more apparent within and outside of us.

As such, you may notice Plutonian hues–acknowledgement of the cycles of life, reverence for what resides under the surface, the urge to reveal that which has been hidden, the rising to the surface of powerful emotions and desires–over the next few days.

There may be a sense of volcanic energy, something churning below that wants to be purged, wants to be released. During Pluto stations, we may very well feel a strong sense of compulsion, a do-or-die/now-or-never feeling. It’s a time when thoughts and feelings that we’ve buried in our minds and hearts are unearthed, emerging with a force parallel to the energy with which we had previously denied looking at them. As we are reminded that “what we resist persists” it could feel like we’re being forced to see, in the light of day, whole facets of ourselves or others to which we had before cast a blind eye.

Make space, go slow, journal honestly, move your body with gentle exercise or dance if you feel that tension is building up within.

Be aware of those in your environment and if you perceive they may explode, be compassionate with yourself and remove yourself from disruptive situations that don’t serve you.

I always find it a good exercise to do some cleaning/purging when Pluto energetics are powerful. For example, pick a drawer or a closet to go through, scrub the floor, or clean your car. Doing a mud mask or an exfoliating and moisturizing treatment is also a great way to channel the deep cleansing and sloughing focus of this time.
