Uranus Stations Direct

19 Dec 2014, 01:46 pm

UranusAt exactly 5:45 PM EST on December 21, Uranus will station direct at 12°34′ (that’s 12 degrees, 34 minutes) of Aries. From this point on until July 26, 2015, this planetary oddball will continue to move forward through Aries.

So what’s it to you?  Plenty.

Uranus is the planet of rebellion, anarchy and technology, and as it makes its way through Aries, it’s dressed in armor and ready to fight.

In other words, Uranus is on the warpath, and at the moment, its sites are still set on Pluto.

Here in the USA, voters rebelled (Uranus) against many of their representatives during the midterm elections, which in turn changes the Congressional balance of power (Pluto) in 2015. Within the past several weeks alone, we’ve witnessed intense nationwide protests, some of which turned violent, and a cyber (Uranus) attack by North Korea against Sony that prompted the media giant to cancel the premiere of The Interview because it feared retaliation (Pluto).

Across the globe, terrorists (Pluto) continue to murder innocent people, including children, and individuals have taken to the streets in more than one nation to fight for freedom and individual rights (Uranus).

Of particular note is that just as Uranus was preparing to change direction,  President Obama took many by surprise (Uranus) when he announced plans to restore diplomatic relations with Cuba, a move that has inflamed Republicans and Democrats alike and has infuriated many Cuban-Americans.
The Uranus/Pluto symbolism is clearly imprinted on this event as well, because it could potentially result in the extradition of radical (Uranus) Joanne Chesimard, who fled there after her conviction for murdering (Pluto) a state trooper.

As Uranus moves forward through Aries, it will eventually meet up with Pluto on March 17, 2015 for the last of seven clashes in this planetary cycle.  However, the conflict doesn’t end there because as they go their separate ways, these planetary giants leave a path of upheaval and destruction in their wake.

And guess who’s left to clean up the mess? That’s right, us.

Just like the Uranus/Pluto cycles of the 1930′s and 1960′s, the wounds are deep and will require years of healing before we’re able to fully regenerate.

In the meantime, as Uranus makes its way through Aries, it will become more saturated in its energy.  Although it’s a noble sign with many excellent qualities, Aries has a well-deserved reputation for being impatient, impulsive and ego-driven.

When you have such an extreme planet like Uranus calling the shots, the warrior either performs amazing feats or goes down in flames.

There’s simply no middle ground.

Although Uranus can encourage unrestrained chaos, it’s equally capable of promoting universal love.

With the Great Awakener only midway through its journey, enlightenment is still clearly within our reach.
