Wayland D. Connelly (b. 1976) is an American mechanical engineer who worked within the curation team of the OSIRIS-REx Asteroid Sample Return Mission. He developed tools, lab equipment, and glove-box isolators that helped to extract and maintain asteroid sample material within a pristine environment.
