It was to the nymphs of Nysa that the education of the young Bacchus {see planet  (2063)} was entrusted. No less than ten places had the name of Nysa including those in Ethiopia, Arabia, India {see planets  (1432) and  (1157)}, Thrace and Euboea {see planet  (1119)}. (H 7) _ _.
