Mark H. Torrence (b. 1952) is a planetary scientist and a contributor to the data analysis of the MLA laser altimeter on the MESSENGER Mercury mission and the LOLA altimeter at the Moon. He has published on the lunar crater Shackleton, and the topography and the internal structure of Mercury.
