Stonařov (in German, “Stannern”) is a small town in Moravia where a meteorite fell on 1808 May 22. It was a eucrite, a classification believed to be associated with (4) Vesta. This naming recognizes the 200th anniversary of both the meteorite fall and the discovery of Vesta on 1807 Mar. 29.
