Piatra Neamt is the capital city of Neamt County in the region of Moldavia, eastern Romania. The city is the current residence of the second discoverer. The ruins of a large Dacian city, Petrodava, mentioned by Ptolemy in his Geographia, are situated near Piatra Neamt.
