The Zvíkov castle was built by the Přemyslids {see planet  (7695)} dynasty above the confluence of the Vltava and Otava {see planets  (2123) and  (4405)} rivers in the thirteenth century. The castle was partly rebuilt in the Renaissance style in the sixteenth century by the Švamberk family. In the nineteenth century the castle was repaired by the Schwarzenbergs. (M 43192) _ _.
