Syamantak Payra (b. 2001) was awarded best of category and first place in the 2016 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for his embedded systems project. He also received the Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award. He attends the Clear Brook High School, Friendswood, Texas, U.S.A.
