Theatre Semafor was a special phenomenon of Prague cultural life in the 1960s, with leading personalities Jiří Suchý (b. 1931) and Jiří Šlitr (1924-1969). Many of their songs became popular and they can be still heard by campfires. The name was suggested by L. Vašta.
