Situated at the Mont Beuvray (Morvan, France), some 35 km from Le Creusot, Bibracte was the capital of the Haeduans Celtic tribe during the first century B.C. It is the place where Vercingétorix was crowned king of the Gallic tribes in 52 B.C. during the Gallic war.
