Ryosuke Nakamura (b. 1968), of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan, is a remote-sensing specialist who works on Earth-observing and planetary missions. He analyzed the surface geology of asteroid Itokawa.
