Named in memory of Frank Sinatra (1915–1998), American singer. Beginning in 1935 when he won a radio talent show, Sinatra showed impeccable taste as an American song stylist for over 50 years. He won an “Oscar” in 1954 for his role in the movie “From Here to Eternity”, and in 1985 he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Throughout his career, he “did it his way”. (M 32791) _ _.
