Airline pilot trainee Rapha (b. 1977), experimental physicist Xavier (b. 1979) and software engineer Vince (b. 1981) are the sons of the discoverer and his wife Nicole “Nicnac” Bosmans (b. 1955), a secretary at Brussels University.
