I feel it is of critical importance that we each work with the Venusian energy at these pivotal times of planetary paradigm shifting. To bring balance to the out-of-control Mars influence that has dominated our consciousness and societies for too many centuries and to create integration loci for the anchoring of the Divine Feminine – safe places for Venus to do her LOVE magic. As we track the movement of Venus through the different signs of the zodiac we put awareness to that vibration, inviting more of the Venusian energy to work her magic in our lives. The coolest thing about astrology and the part that never ceases to blow my mind wide open is to follow the astrological influences and see how they play out in my own personal life, in my community, and in the world.
Venus, being a sister planet to Earth, so close in size and proximity, can rest and vitalize her energy here on Earth in the places that allow for the full expression of her vibration. You can create that vibration in your own mind, creating a good well-lit landing pad for Venus and the myriad of ways she opens you to give and receive LOVE. Not a bad assignment, right?

Slightly off-track point of clarification: Aquarius is often thought to be a WATER sign because the image of AQUARIUS is of a water bearer. a human-like character who pours water from a vessel. Aquarius is actually the FIXED AIR sign of the zodiac, a vibration of high intelligence, genius potential, and revolutionary, rule-breaking, chaos-creating thought forms.
Venus in the sign of Aquarius break rules, experiments with LOVE, is open to giving and receiving LOVE from unlikely candidates. This somewhat emotionally detached Venus enjoys group activities, like hearing music and dancing with others, unified in external experience but having a completely unique inside experience. This experience of being a part of a group is a strong Aquarian desire, as the Aquarian type can feel like an alien in a hostile environment, seen as quirky, different, eccentric. To think of the group’s needs, to really get the interconnectedness of all life forms as part of the group identity, and to be able to act as an individual within the group context – such is the essential nature of Aquarius.
